With guidance from Sophie Van Der Merwe, I spent over a year crafting a fresh new logo and look for this theatre. Through many, many, many iterations and explorations, the logo we landed on encapsulates the playfulness and whimsical nature of the theatre while maintaining a sleek, contemporary feel.
I sketched these letterforms by hand and vectorized them to create the wordmark. I was heavily inspired by 60’s packaging + typography and european theatre branding. Please reach out to see more of this project!
